Tabitha died whe she was thirty on the 20th October 2013. She had been fine until then but was having difficulty getting up sometimes. That day all efforts to help her up failed. Our vet thought her heart was very weak and helped her to die peacefully. Tabitha was an old friend who had been here since 1987, first as a livery client and then in Redwing Riding School and finally in retirment at Blaikiewell. When she was young she was quite accident prone and survived some horrific injuries including a broken pedal bone, but she was a good patient and didn't mind the months of box rest she needed and she came through stronger, and more loved than ever.
She was beautiful, and very photogenic.
