Zoot and Hagar were a matching pair of Shetland driving ponies before they came here with their big friend Harry, who was a wonderful older boy who died a few years ago. They are quite striking with their chestnut coats and flaxen manes and tails. Zoot was willing to be ridden and loves the attention he gets from the children at Redwing Riding School. He is a big favourite and is always chosen to take part in the Fancy Dress and Thelwell classes at Redwing Show. He seems to enjoy dressing up and showing off although he could sometimes be a little too enthusiastic for his young riders. He is prone to Laminitis and has to be on a special diet and monthly feet trimming.
