Shamrock was a friendly grey Welsh pony who was here for many years since his former owner could not keep him. He was a favourite with children at Redwing and then enjoyed his retirement with his best friend, Kitty, who changed partners from her long-time friend, Viking, who was then devoted to Tegan. Shamrock's last companion was Mercury, who will miss him, as will everyone at the yard. He was a big personality
