MOLLY was born in 1988 and came to Redwing Riding School from the horse market when she was 15, described as an excellent all-round riding horse and a good jumper. This may well have been the case but she had decided she had done enough of that stuff and refused to come near anyone with a headcollar for a long time. Eventually she was adopted by one of our clients, Grace, who persevered with patience and managed to ride her lightly for a few years but when Grace moved away Molly was retired and in time became very happy to come in for feeding and grooming and transformed into a friendly, affectionate horse. She enjoyed her retirement anlong with her little pony friend, Afer. She died suddenly when she was thirty-five.
